I love stoneware for baking and this one has two things going for it that you rarely find...the generous size and a lid. This is perfect for individual servings of French onion soup and like all the Le Creuset stoneware it really holds the heat. It's a breeze to clean, is dishwasher safe and it looks great at the table. I cook for two and own several of these; they are perfect for a small household or individual portions of just about anything you would bake. I even made my husband a pork chop in it and it baked to perfection. And it's great for hot dips, too.
